Brief & Reference Tracks
Briefs give both parties the opportunity to agree upon the process and outcome of the mix. Reference tracks can be useful for demonstrating ideas that want to be achieved. Try to gives as much information as posible, no matter how big or small as it’s key to help get the best for your mix.
A rough mix will provide me with an insight and representation to your brief. Always provide a mix that has creative ideas rather than technical ones.
How long does mixing take?
Mixes usually take between 3-7 days depending on how busy the studio is. Some mixes are quicker than others but rest assured I do my best to get mixes out on time.
How many revisions can I have?
I believe that we work to get the mix the way you want. No restrictions on revisions.
Can I have a tweak after the mix has been signed off?
Yes, however this may have to be charged for. Once the mix has been signed off, I move onto the next mix. I work with some old equipment and recalling and reseting the mixing console takes time.
I have more than one track to be mixed, can you do it?
Yes, absolutely. I’ve worked on many albums. However, I work on track by track basis under the pay what you want method. My advise is to work on the first and lets have a chat afterwords once I have an understanding about the work involved with your music.
